The Startup Kids is an excellent documentary about young entrepreneurs starting their own businesses. It talks about entrepreneurship and how successes are the consequences of failures.

So what does it take to be a Startup Kid and build your own business?

  1. Follow your passion! If you just build a business to make money, chances are that you will not be able to put in the efforts and energy necessary to succeed and get stuck at 211 degree, because only if you’re passionate and love your product or service you’ll be able to overcome all the obstacles along the way.
  2. Trust your guts! Too many people along the way will tell you that you shouldn’t do it and that it’s impossible. You need to be able to follow your dreams even when everyone around you is telling you that you will fail.
  3. Fail and bounce back fast! You will fail at one point in one way or the other, and if you look at the most successful business people you have to fail to succeed… and when you do fail, you need to bounce back fast and try again.

Question: What do you think about the movie? What differentiates the regular employee from the entrepreneurs in the movie?
